does weight training and jogging contradict each other?

i’m lifting weights to build muscle but at the same time i jog about 4 times a week for about 40 mins to an hour. i’ve read a lot of articles online that says jogging will decrease muscle size, this is true?

jogging can use up a lot of protein, which is key for muscle building. If you take a protein supplement, then you should be fine.
