How Do I Protect My New Tattoo At The Gym?
I just got a new tattoo on my lower back yesterday and I wanted to know how to go about protecting it when im working out? Should I just leave it by itself with bacatracin/a&d/neosporin, ect. on it, or should I put a piece of ceran wrap or something to prevent it from rubbing against my workout shirt? Also, how does sweat effect a new tattoo? Either way, I’m going to thoroughly clean it when I get back.

No Saran wrap! It’s got to get air. A t-shirt will be fine. It’ll be a little sore, but it’ll be fine. Wash it gently, with just the lightest touch of the fingertips. In and out. Don’t let the water from the showerhead spray directly on it. No soaking in the bath, either. Then a reeeal light coat of your favorite healing lotion. Lubiderm, bacitracin, A&D, aquaphor. Enjoy your new ink!
