good workouts that will encourage appositional growth in forearms?
the bones in my forearm are ridiculously thin and i was hoping i could find good ways to train so i could get some bone density going for me. is strength training the best way to go about doing it? any tips would be appreciated.
Thin bones are your genetics, but you can put some meat on them!
The two best exercises to add size to your forearms are:
Reverse curls (or hammer curls).
Wrist curls
Many other forearm exercises are good for grip and wrist strength, but they don’t add the size like the two just listed.
Research has shown that lifting weights does increase bone density and that is beneficial. But not bone size.
I’m not clear about what you mean by “appositional”, even after reading the dictionary definition. So if my reply isn’t adequate, list additional details.
