strength training workouts at home
Splitting my weight, cardio and strength training throughout the day?

I’m training for the Royal Marines so although I do want to bulk up a bit, my main focus is becoming super fit and have a high level of endurance.

For the past few months i’ve been training 12 hours a week like this;

Mon & Tue
am half hour run / half hour intense cardio at home
pm one hour weight training / one hour strength training without weights

Wed
REST

Thu & Fri
am half hour run / half hour intense cardio at home
pm one hour weight training / one hour strength training without weights

Sat & Sun
REST

I also follow a strict high protein diet of 5 well balanced meals a day and shakes pre and post workout.

Is this a good way to split my workout?
Cardio in the morning and the strength and training in the evening?
Big scary bodybuilders in the past have told me I do too much cardio but it’s needed for the Marines.

Thanks alot for any answers, and don’t be afraid to tell it straight.

Cardio in the morning and strength in the evening is the best way to split your workout as it means that you will keep your BFP to a minimum and help increase your fitness levels, while avoiding hindering muscle growth and development, so you can get cut and ripped simultaneously. Cardio is important for keeping body fat down, so you aren’t doing too much and it will help to ensure that you have optimum fitness levels. Your diet sounds good too, so your training is fine.
