just wanted to know how to build up muscle quickly

I suggest you get a trainer to help teach you the squat and the deadlift unless you know how to do them.

But most people don’t and if you have any doubts I suggest you get help otherwise you might end up with a bad back or knee injury.

When done right, these lifts provide excellent results, since these are compound lifts that work lot of muscles… esp. some of the smaller ones used for stability. Also, since it works so many muscles it releases more of the natural hormones used in building muscles.

So, just make sure these lifts are vital component in your routine. Make sure you eat a high protein diet. Cardio isn’t that bad as it use to believe in building muscles. I always did light cardio after my weight routines. I think it ensures you have some blood flow to your muscles where you need it.
