What can I do to jumpstart my xc?
I’m 13 and I started running about 6 months ago. I ran 3 times a week for two miles, and saw minimal results. I stayed the same weight, and saw no change in definition in my legs.
Recently I started training more significantly, running about 5-6 days a week with miles per run ranging from 3-7. I am now seeing quite significant results in my legs concerning toning, but my weight stays the same.
I eat healthily, and am not overweight, my bmi being 20.7. However, I want to lose weight for health reasons, and to give my cross country running a kick start, as lighter runners usually have the advantage over larger in long distances.
What can I do to help lose fat above what I’m already doing? Thanks!
